World War II Submarine Veteran Alan Holt receives his 75 year submarine qualification rocker from Admiral Mike Holland at the annual World War II Submarine Veterans Memorial Service in Kings Bay on November 3, 2017. Congratulations Al on this momentous achievement.

Here's a few more photos from the V 4 V event last Saturday to give you an idea of the attendance level.  BTW, the BBQ lunch (free) at the end was delicious!  We'll announce the next quarterly event here and at the meetings.

First Coast Base was well represented at the Vets-4-Vets Quarterly Gathering on Saturday February 29, 2020. The event was held at the Vystar Veterans Memorial Arena and the theme for this gathering was to honor our Vietnam Vets. A special thanks goes out to Semper Fidelis Society, the five area Veterans Councils, the numerous Veteran Support Organizations (VSO) and Vystar for a wonderful event We also want to thank the MOAA Northeast Florida Chapter for once again allowing us to share their information/recruiting table. We talked with several potential members and we look forward to seeing QMC (SS) Robert McLean at our March meeting.
